DVD softwares processing tools needed

I have a collection of DVD movies, but recently i plan to move to another place, i hate to throw them but i really can Not take them all to my new appartment.
So i need to turn them to digital formats like MP4/MKV/AVI, etc.

Any tools recommanded ?
I also like to have éditing fonction in that software.

Actually i know a software called DVDFab DVD Ripper, but its really expensive.

Have any cheaper tools to recommand ?

How about using a simple free ripper to copy the DVD’s to a digital format and then, later when you’re settled in your new appartment, using your favorite movie editor to edit them?

The apps you listed are not expensive.

Compared to the cost of the DVDs you bought. I’ve been around this area for decades so to me, those titles are great values.
