Dynamic IP & Remote Management

A lot of my remote sites & relatives have high speed Internet connections with dynamic IP addressing. I have the same issue with my home PC. Makes it a pain to connect to them via VNC or PC Anywhere. My son has come up with a solution at know-ip.com

The free Windows client updates the database every 8 minutes, tracks uptime, downtime, address changes & durations. You can get emailed or an HTML post whenever your IP address changes AND if the client doesn’t check in with whatever information you would like. Makes my life a lot easier.
