e-Learning Authoring Tools

By jrogers ·
Can anyone out there give me a sense of which technologies they prefer for the development of web based learning objects? References to both Macromedia and Click2Learn technologies would be appreciated.

eLearning authoring tools

I'm looking at these tools now and find that Macromedia seems the top dog but requires more training, knowledge etc to use. Click2Learn (Asymetrix) is easier to use and good if it meets your requirements. Multimedia products require you to download their plugins to use the output also.
