E-mail signin/signout

By jminhere ·
I use yahoo. I check the box to be signed in unless I sign out, but when I go back to yahoo the next time, I need to re-enter user name and password. Is RegTool preventing this from working like it should or is it something else??

Besides checking what OM said...

... the part about leaving you signed in until you sign out refers to not booting you for inactivity. It has nothing to do with leaving the site and coming back again. Once you navigate away from the page (or close the browser), you need to sign back in again when you come back. That's for security purposes.

But...

On my laptop (Win Vista w/o RegTool) even though I DO sign out, when Yahoo starts, I just need to enter my password, which is fair enough. The PC (Win xp home w/ RegTool) no matter what I do, requires both. This did not happen before RegTool, no matter how long I was signed out for.
I fear RegTool is at fault, as a lot of goofy things are happening that weren't before. I just may take OM's advice...
