E-Smith Server and Squidguard

by cruncher_1 . Updated 24 years, 9 months ago

I am new to Linux, but have experience in DOS to Win2K. I am starting to install an E-Smith server. I have done trials and it seems to go easily. However, I need to install internet filtering. It has been suggested to me that squidguard is what I need. My concern is that I have been reading the command line entries and do not know how to get to the command line from e-smith.

I know this question must sound silly to a Linux user, but I need somewhere to start. A basic tutorial might even help.

Thanks in advance for any help.
