    Edge can’t display insecure content

    by terry.chi9 ·

Hi all, our company has a application which previously only runs on Internet Explorer but now with IE being retired, we are using it in Edge’s IE enabled mode. The problem is on my work laptop, I can display mixed contents on the application webpage but on the Edge in a Windows Server, even though insecure contents is already set to allow, I’m still getting the error on top right hand corner of the page saying “this page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated source” and I compared the browser setting on both the server and my laptop, the browser settings are the same. So i’m really confused right now as to what exactly is blocking and where exactly do i need to enable ?

If no luck with the settings, see if you can run it from a virtual Windows Home or Pro running under Windows Server.

And it might be time to find an application that’s not dependent on unsupported infrastructure.

For the developer to get in there and fix it. It’s a company so they’ll have IT and money to pay for developers when there’s a bug like that.
