Hi Everyone,
Here is a situation that I have and would like some ideas or opinions. I?m trying to get a fully redundant network setup. I have 2 DS3 connections coming in from AT&T and Verizon. Unfortunately, as of right now, the person that was setting this up (who is not longer with the company) only connected one DS3 to the firewall. The DS3 he connected goes to a router, then to a hub before hitting the firewall. So here is my question. Is it still necessary to have a hub on the edge network to capture packets before the firewall? Is the hub a security risk? Is there a better alternative? Is it better to just remove any device from here?
