Elementor: How to Retain Hover Effect?

    by dameronj ·

    Hello.

I bought a template for my website.

GOAL: In the original template, you can see that the “Projects” section has 5 images. When you hover your mouse cursor over any of the 5 images, a very amazing hover effect appears. I want to use that exact hover effect for thumbnail images. However, I don’t want the thumbnail images to be for “Projects.” I want the thumbnail images and the exact identical hover effect, but for a video testimonial gallery. When a thumbnail is clicked, I want it to use lightbox to display a YouTube video. Yet, I want retain that same identical hover effect.

PROBLEM: I don’t see any options to change the thumbnail images. I don’t see any options for a YouTube video link. I don’t see many options. (I didn’t see an option to upload a screenshot. If I missed it, please let me know where I can find it.)

How do I achieve this goal?

    Thank you.

If the template doesn’t do what you want, your options include:
      – buy a better template
      – contact the author to see if he is willing to update it for you (presumably not free)
      – change it yourself
      – write some custom software from scratch yourself
      – hire someone to write the software as you want it

In this article, we will see how to affect other elements when one element has hovered using CSS. If you’ve ever found yourself stumped trying to make a slick hover effect, then I have six CSS link hover effects for you to check out.

Elementor provides Hover Effects that help to increase and improve your website’s engagement and design interaction.

Hover effects can be applied at the Widget, Column, and Section level, and can be combined to create unlimited effect variations.

Wherever you see the Normal and Hover buttons , you have the option to add hover effects.
