Eliminate XP Pro window at startup

By real1roger ·
Hi, I got a new system built with XP Pro installed. How can I eliminate the "Welcome to Windows and the XP slide bar appearing while booting. I like to watch the POST test. Thank whoever. Roger

The XP welcome screen is just like the Windows 9X welcome screen.
It appears AFTER the POST test is complete, while Windows is loading.

More and more motherboards run a very quick and limited POST test, and the monitor does not reach the point of displaying until after the POST is complete.

Enter BIOS settings, and set your POST options to the longest test available.
Disable any "Quiet Boot" features.

By the way, you will normally get more and quicker responses if you post technical questions in the Technical Q&A area of the site.
