Elvis is DEAD[LY]

By Jaqui ·
take note people, pulling a top 40's boneheaded move by playing a song over and over again can be hazzardous to your health.

Neil Diamond's concert wasn't that loud.

I took my mom to see his concert, since she loves his music.

Diamond

I camped out overnight for Diamond tickets in '80 or '81 to give my parents for their anniversary.

As a NASCAR fan, I'm constantly amazed at the people who sit there listening to 43 screaming engines for several hours without any form of hearing protection. I don't care so much about the adults, but I really feel for their kids. No sunscreen either.

Nascar

by rob mekel In reply to Diamond

And the noise from the cars is okay?

Would say gives the same damage

As usual, I failed to express my point clearly

by CharlieSpencer In reply to Nascar

Heck no, the noise from the cars is not okay. If I forget my earplugs or headphones, I'm more than willing to cough up $2.00 for a pair of plugs from the vendors at the track. But about half the crowd sits there without any form of hearing protection for several hours. Then they wonder why they have to yell at their co-workers for the next three days.
