guys I’ve used two different smtp apps to email the ntbackup logs, the problem is that either “sendmail” or “mailsend” don’t understand wildcards as attachments therefore gives me an error when trying to send logs as backup*.log…
ntbackup creates logs in the format backup01 to backup10 so I send the attachment as backup*.log but like I said neither program are sending the logs, however if I send the log as backup01.log it sends it just find… could someone point me to a different app I could use for this or a different method of doing this?
