Email Converting/importing?

I had a system failure but was able to save the archive.pst and outlook.pst files from my email accounts. I was using Outlook 2003. I’m now attempting to use Outlook Express 6 as I don’t need the higher functions of Outlook 2003. I’m unable to import the .pst files into Express.
Can anyone assist me in doing this import?
