Entering BIOS

By bob ·
How do you enter BIOS in a Toshiba Satellite 2545XCDT?
The machine has been repartioned and the drive formatted. I have a restore CD, but this little laptop does not boot up via CD. Figuring if I got into the CMOS, I could change the boot order to make it boot to the restore CD.
Have Win 98 boot disk. It will boot to command mode. I tried entering setup C:, but it tells me it is a bad command.
Am XP spoiled. Haven't reloaded a 98 machine in a while.
Can anybody help?

Turn on the power switch, press Esc quickly (ok to hold it down for a few seconds). When the POST finishes you should be prompted to press the F1 key which will take you into the BIOS.
