Windows XP Home SP2. I use a 3rd party defrag program (IOBIT) and as it scans my secondary external, USB hard drive, it scans the folder described in the Title. It appears to be loaded with files and folders. Folder properties are set to show Hidden files and folders as well as Protected Operating System files. Windows explorer does not show the folder.
I run CMD and dir /AH shows the Recycler folder with 7 folders such as:

Noticing the dates of the folders, I see SOME prior to 5/23/2008. Those dates are dates before my last computer crash,.. wherein I restored to C: from OEM CDs and reinstalled applications to both C: and E: Some are on and after 5/23. I think this is a trashcan for E: that has not been emptied, but I am not sure. I think I could delete any folder prior to 5/22/08. Or, more likely delete everything in it. Oh, .. Recycle icon on desktop is configured to use one setting for ALL hard drives and to my knowledge, always has been.
Its a lot of space on E: which appears to be full of junk.
Any advice/comment would be apreciated. thnx in advance.
