Every time I open word Microsoft Visual Basic window opens with Compile error in hidden module: Main in it. What can i do to get ri of this problem.

macro disabled the file when you open it.

Is this when Word opens to a blank document or are you opening a specific file? If you are certain there are no macros or modules that should be running when you start Word, deleting the file usually resolves issues of Word opening improperly.

The path to will be something like this:
C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates\.

Application Data is a hidden folder so you may have to unhide it to navigate to

Once deleted, opening Word will generate a "fresh" instance of and if your problem was corruption in the template, your error should be gone.
