Error after upgraded Outlook 2002 Security Patch KB828040

Since I upgraded the Outlook 2002 (Office XP) security patch KB828040, I now get errors whenever I start Outlook saying that the Personal and Archive files were not shut down properly. I can’t find anywhere to uninstall the upgrades. Do I have to reinstall Office XP?
