Error in MSVCRT.DLL in MS Word 2000

Everytime I start Word 2000, an error says ‘WinWord has caused an error in MSVCRT.DLL, WinWord will now close’

I have to restart my PC to make it work. I’m using WIN98 DELL PC.

Anyone has solution to this?
