Error Message 1311: MS Office 2000 Pro

I have been employing Windows 2000 O/S Pro on my
personal Dell 8200. I was also using Office XP
Pro with no problems, including Service Pack 3.
As usual, I tinkered with some shareware that caused grief for me. I had to reload Windows and
removeOffice XP Pro—upon reinstalling Office XP
I continually get a error message titled “Error
1311: Missing D:\Office1.CAB”. A search was futile
and my Product Key was correct. Any ideas as to where I am fouling up the installation ?
