Error sending out some email

I get the following error message when sending out email "no transport provider was available for delivery to this recipient". I can recieve email ok.

Are you using Outlook? If so, Microsoft has a whole list of things that could cause it, and the fixes, here:

http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q176/7/31.asp

If I'm remembering correctly, it's becaue your mail server you get mail from isn't allowing smtp connections. Generally when one would see this it's also because there is another server that is specifically dedicated for outgoing mail. There's a spot in exchange to put this in, but you'll need to know what that outgoing server name is.

Here are two areas to look into
1)Click the Start button,choose Settings,and click Control Panel to open
2)Double-click the Mail icon
3)Click Add,and then select the mail-transport service you want to install.Click OK
4)Enter info as requestedTo correct an improperly configured mail transport
1)Click the Start button,choose Settings,and click Control Panel to open
Double-click the mail icon
3)Click show profiles,select the profile,and then click Properties to open the Properties dialog box
4)Select the mail transport from the list,and then click properties to open
5)Check all settings

I had to set the smtp server to the ISP I was connecting to. POP3 goes to the ISP I get email from. I set this in the properties dialog box
