Excel 2000 kicks me back to logon screen

We have recently upgraded to Office 2000 SR1 on a Windows NT 4.0 platform. One of the PCs will not run Excel correctly. Everytime we try to customize the toolbar, we get kicked back to the logon screen. We have tried repairing and even reinstalling Office 2000 to no avail. Anybody know what’s happening?
