Excel 2003 and blank data fields

This ones got me a bit preplexed. I have a user that received an Excel file via e-mail. When he goes to open most of the data is missing from the sheet. If you click on the field the data appears on the formula bar line showing you the contents of the cell.

The file is able to be opened and read on at least 3 other computers with data displayed in all proper places.
