Excel 97 Charts

A user of ours wants to have a mixed chart (columns & Lines), has 5 items of data. Instead of (custom Type chart Line-Column)defaulting to 3 columns & 2 lines plotted; would like it to display 4 colunms & 1 line? I have attempted to see if it can bemodified in excel 97&2000, don’t think its possible – just asking incase there is a workaround?
