Excel 97 loses some functionality when l

I have a Win2K Pro client, on an NT 4.0 network. Office 97 is installed on the machine and the user cannot use the Tools/Options feature. The system reports an error and closes excel. However, if the user logs on to the local machine account, excel works fine. It's only when he logs on to our NT domain that this occurs. What am I doing wrong here??

Make sure that the user's domain account is in the Power Users group on the local machine. Even if the user's domain account and local account have the same user name and password, they are NOT the same account. Hope this helps!
