Excel Conditional Color Formating

by n00bst4r23 . Updated 17 years, 4 months ago

Hi,

I have a weird question related to Excel. I have a spreadsheet with over 100,000 entries. The columns are from A through K, while the rows extend to beyond 100,000. Almost all the entire column A is blank, except few of the entries have the text value “Yes”. Basically, my objective is to color each and every row right below to the one that has the value “Yes” in its column A.

For example, if A6 = yes, then I want the row 7 to be colored as Red. Then, if A10 = yes, then I want row 11 to be colored as Red. And so on.

Do you guys have any suggestions as how to accomplish that? Thanks!
