Excel Crash

Hi,

I have a problem with excel, it crashes when you go to file\open and try and change drive the program just hangs and you have to use task manager to close it (about 15 tries to get it to close) after this if you load excel again it works fine. I would appreciate any ideas on this as im stuck. I have reinstalled office and checked that all the patches are up to date but this has made no difference to the problem.
