Excel - Emailing

By senitaf ·
Hi,

We have a big Excel document that several people use and we sometimes need to email it, the thing is we don't always need to email the whole workbook. I just want to know if it is possible to email a particlar tab, without having to save thetab first as a seperate workbook. Any help or pointers greatly recieved.

An Excel workbook is ONE file.

You can only e-mail the file itself.

If you do not want to save the tab as a file by itself the only other option you have is to copy the entire sheet and paste it into the e-mail.

Of course that just convertsit to text and it would no longer be able to be used as a spreadsheet.

If you just want to send one sheet as an attachment, Right click the Sheet tab and choose Move or Copy. Be sure to put a check in the Copy box. Now you can send the sheet to a new workbook and email that file.

Or you can share the file in a shared folder.
