I have an excel document that I have created. It is mainly a set of resources that I and my colleagues refer to in our work. It contains 6 worksheets, approx 6 recorded macros, a handful of hyperlinks and a number of simple functions.
The document seems to conflict with all the other open applications and often causes all the open windows to flicker erratically, stopping only when I hold down the excel title bar.
I have tried adding the Application.ScreenUpdating codes in my macros but they do not seem to make any difference – the macros are generally not in use when the flickering occurs but it usually occurs simply when switching between applications.
It is really getting on our nerves and I don’t know if I have used the ScreenUpdating code correctly or if it is just something completely different.
Any ideas would be most welcome.
