Excel Formatting

By LF King ·
When I enter the following number 466240160492540 into a cell it converts it to 4.6624E+14. The only way I've gotten it to stay as entered is to insert a ' before the number.

Totally Confused

Go to Format>Cell. Change the formatting to Number. You can adjust the number of decimals that are displayed, as well.
Also if you ever see numbers displayed as #### that just means that the column is too narrow,
Good luck
