Excel Formula

Good day:

Looking for a simple Excel formular to take 15% off totals in Column D and put the results in Column E.

The formula is:


where "n" is the row number.


1. In cell E1, type


2. Propagate the formula in E1 to as many rows as necessary (E2, E3, ...).

The quick way to do this is to select cell E1. Then, click and drag the little black box in the bottom right corner of cell E1 across the cells in column E down the sheet as far as you need. This will automatically set the row number correctly.
