Excel Functions & non-english MS Office

By Topic ·
I have designed a spreadsheet on an English version of Excel 97 to be used by a user's using a Dutch, German, or Swedish version of Excel 2000.

The problem arose with the date function called eomonth and workday that display and error message of"name" in the cell of the non-English versions. The Add-in Analysis Toolpak is installed and active.

Could anyone advise how I can get the non-English versions to recognise these functions?

The standard worksheet names will translate. The Analysis toolpak does not. Here are most of the functions translated.

Thank you for your contribution, but it did dnot help, as this would involve isntalling freeware software, that could potentially corrupt several networked computers.

The solution did not help. I was hoping for a manual translation, as I could have typed the functions into the appropriate language.
