Excel Lockup

Windows 98 workstation on NT 4.0 network. Templates are in a shared directory on the Server.
One workstation’s Excel program will quit responding if asked to get templates from network drive. Excel was removed and reinstalled. Excel will look attemplated on the local drive. I am in the process of reconfiguring the Workstation.

Very curious as to why this would happen???
