excel - make a formula replicate automatically

By yaffeart-tr ·
I have a spreadsheet where column K contains the same formula in every row. When I initially set up the sheet that was fine, but now and again I have to insert a row, and of course the formula in column K isn't there in the new row. I have to remember to copy the formula from the cell above when I do that. Is there a way to make that replication automatic?

After all, Excel is not capable of reading your mind, yet.

How would it know that you only want to copy column K and not the rest of the columns?

Sorry, but you still need to do this manually. You COULD create a MACRO though so all you have to do is put the cursor in the correct cell and press a key to copy the cell from above. But, you still need to REMEMBER to do it so it's just as easy to do the manual copy.
