Excel: memory cannot be read

Hi,

I get the following error:

The instruction at “0x03acc526″ reference memory at ” 0x07228000″ the memory
could not be “read”

Excel 2000 and 97, all service packs applied

Any idea what the cause might be, and how to fix it?
