We use large Excel spreadsheets and they are often slow to load. We have discovered that the speed of loading is severely affected by the default printer driver on the users PC. Where we have Post Script drivers installed, loading can take over 2 1/2 minutes, whereas without a driver it can be only 10 seconds. I assume Excel is reformatting the s/s on loading – can this be bypassed?
