Excel VBA SendMail

I am trying to add a macro button to an Excel 2000 worksheet being used as a form to email the workbook using the SendMail method. I used syntax examples from several sources, Microsoft and VBA experts, and the editor still keeps rejecting them. Has anyone gotten this to work and is willing to share their code?
