Excel VBA / Workbook Sharing

I’m trying to do something I originally thought would be fairly simple, but I haven’t figured it out after a good bit of playing around in Excel’s VBE. All I need to do is write a bit of code that will share or unshare a workbook without any input from the user. Any help is appreciated!
