The dafault zoom view on the standard toolbar is 100% for Excel. How do I change that to default to 115%?

Open the file Book.XLT
Change the zoom. Close the book. Close Excel and reopen.
If you can't find Book.XLT create one.
Remember to save as and XLT file

I tried this, but do you have to open excel with this book each time? I want excel to open with this percentage. Like word does with the normal.dot

Book.XLT is "kind of" like Normal.dot. Whenever you open a new Workbook, it is the template that will be used.

Where do you store the book.xlt? I searched the c drive and could not locate an existing one, so I'm assuming that there is a specific place that I'm not aware of.

When you choose File>Save As,
At the bottom of the dialog box is a drop down list called "Save as type:"
Choose Template(*.XLT)
The location will then change to Templates.
You want to navigate to the XLStart folder
usually
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\XLStart

This works, I only have a few XP setups and the rest of 97, new things to learn.
