Excel97 SaveSetting Issue

I’m running Excel97 SR-2 on a Win95 machine and would like to use the VBA command SAVESETTING for storing my apps parameters. However, even if I copy the Example code, I get the following error when issuing the SaveSetting command: “Compile Error: Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment.”

Don’t know the specific solution but … Examples in many cases don’t work. See if you can locate documentation (example should have actual call syntax) and compare the example to the syntax. If you believe the messge you are passing too many or not enough arguments or a character when you need interger, etc. lo

I’ve tried various examples from the web and the examples run on other machines in my department but fail on my machine. Excel has been re-installed twice on my machine, and I still has same problem.
