Excell 2000

I,m making a long list of numbers, 4 columns wide.
Its at least 15 pages long. I want to shorten the pages to 7 by making 2 set of 4 columns wide on each page.
My problem is it won’t sort the columns in proper order in all the columns and pages. It will only sort the left set only or the right set only.
Please I need help.
