We are looking at buying an exchange solution for our new e-mail system. We are currently purchasing a contracted solution from an outside
company and there prices just went through the roof. So now we want to run our own. The only problem is that we have a W2K domain that reflects the current domain say “toby.com”. Here is the kicker the company now wants to chanage the domian names to another domain name “juniper.com”. Does the new Exchange 6.5 only allow you to service clients on the domain that it is running?
Will Exchange Server 6.5 be able to service a client at Kim@juniper.com from server@toby.com.
I was speaking to an MCSE and he told me that you cannot use an exchange 6.5 server to service any other domains other than it’s own. I can’t see this being right.
Can someone give me the story on this.
