Exchange 2000

I am involved with a local charity and have been asked if I could see why they can send, but not receive e-mails, but have no experience of Exchange.

The domain is hosted by a third party and we can see the mails sitting on their server but are not pulling them down.

Can anyone supply any suggestions please.
