Exchange 2000 public folders help

Hello

Do public folders in Exchange 2000 accespt delivery faileres and out of office replys.

I have setup a public folder and giving someone “send as” permissions. When they send to someone who is out of the office or an email address thats does not exist, there is no notification sent to the person sending on behalf or the public folder.

Is there a way to make this happen?
