Exchange 2000 reporting

By alanb ·
I am looking for a way to query Exchange 2000 to enable reports to be run against users/keywords etc. As simple report may indicate how many emails a customer service rep answered in a day/week/month, or how many emails were replied to for a certain mailbox.
Does anyone know of a good/easy/cheap way of doing so (using Access/ODBC connector?).

Thanks,
Alan

You won't be able to use an ODBC connector to connect to the Exchange database and derive the information you are seeking.

SlipStick has a number of suggestions on reporting Excahnge utilization at http://www.slipstick.com/exs/reporting.htm.

The honest truth is that none of these products are cheap. If you are required to provide this kind of information to a client to meet SLA requirements, it's just part of the cost of doing business.
