Exchange 2000 Server

By dedrock ·
This is my first attempt at creating Outlook Web Access, contacts and e-mail services using MS Exchange Server 2000. I need to know how to link my Public Domain Names with my public IP number so the browser can resolve the IPs and my users can log and get their e-mail and update their contacts database?

Exchange 2000 Server

Your ISP should have a DNS server out on the internet. Contact them to make sure they can host your DNS info. Then you need to contact your Domain name register (ie Network Solutions) and tell them the IP address of your ISP's DNS server. It takes about 24 hours for this to kick in after they make the change. Now tell your ISP which IP address is your IIS server and you should be set.
