We are currently running an NT network with no immediate plans this year to migrate to Windows 2000 Server. We are currently outsourcing our e-mail and would like to bring that in house. It is my understanding that Exchange 2000 only runs on 2000 server with Active Directory in place. I am told by my vendor that Exchange 5.5 has been discontinued and is no longer available. So it appears that I would have to upgrade our organization to Windows 2000 and AD and only then I can deploy Exchange. Isthis true? Is Exchange 5.5 unavailable?
