Exchange 2000\Outlook issue

by seanl . Updated 23 years, 1 month ago

I have a user on win2000 sp4, using outlook 2000 connecting to Exchange 2000 server. Each time he opens outlook, after about 1 minute gets an error “outlook.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program”. The event log gives the following:
“Event Type: Information
Event Source: DrWatson
Event Category: None
Event ID: 4097
Date: 2003/09/16
Time: 11:02:47
User: N/A
Computer: machine name
Description:
The application, , generated an application error The error occurred on 09/16/2003 @ 11:02:47.183 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 3AD852C8 ()”

If i log onto another pc with his account, the same thing happens. We are not using roaming profiles, so it can’t be the users profile being corrupt. I suspect there might therefore be some corruption on his mailbox. How do I confirm this or correct this.?
