Exchange 2003

Hi

I have the ffg problem with regards to my Exchange 2003 server:

Users at our organisation generally send out emails to distribution lists (lets says 50 email addresses per DL). I believe that just a few of these email addresses are incorrect, but when I check the queues I see that all the email to these 50 recipients are retrying. So I check on event viewer to check the addresses that are incorrect. In the meantime, the emails in the queue continue to accumulate until the first batch expires and this causes major problems for new emails trying to go out.

How do i set exchange to return the message to sender if it has been retried 3 times?
