Exchange 2003 SMTP connector issue

by thys_kitshoff . Updated 21 years, 2 months ago

Hi guys

I have 1 Exchange 2003 server servicing 2 domains, I would like for the one mail domain (@abc.com) to rout all outgoing mail via another relay server ( this server does mail branding only applicable to that domain). And for the other domain(@def.com) to route via the default setup(direct DNS delivery)

What I have done is setup a SMTP connector to forward all mail form abc.com to the relay but it doesn?t exclude the @def.com domain. Here is my configuration.

General ? Forward all mails through connecter [ip]
Address space ? SMTP abc.com entire organization

I have set the connector to accept mail from all in the abc.com domain and to reject def.com domain

Please help !!!
