I have been configuring Dynamic Distribution Groups in Exchange 2007 for years. They have worked flawlessly until now. Without making any changes to the configuration of the group or of the mailboxes the preview query returns an empty group.
I have created new groups and tried configuring one of the custom attribute fields then change a test mailbox to define the custom field. The query returned an empty preview. I also configured the department field for the mailbox which also returned an empty preview.
I am suspecting a recent update to Exchange broke Dynamic Distribution Groups. Has anyone else experienced the same issue and found the cause and solution
