I manage an Exchange2k box that is displaying a weird problem. When Exchange has an unkown recipient it broadcasts the email to all.
Does anyone know how to fix this by setting something to forward all unkown recipients to the admin account or adesignated junk address vs. sending to everyone??
Some more background is that the server uses Microsoft’s connector for POP3 mailboxes. It POPs email from our isp who is catching all of our domain’s email in a single account. (multi drop POP)The exchange server then distributes the email to mailboxes once downloaded in bulk.
I’ve found an article in Microsoft’s KB that probably will fix this but involves using VB and Exchange Developer kit to create and register a dll. I’m hoping that I’m just missing something obvious.
